OpenBraket is an IP-first Quantum Algorithm as a Service company. We develop algorithms for near-term hardware — from NISQ to fault-tolerant — serving business teams who need quantum results without quantum expertise, and research groups who need composable tools built on Qiskit. Finding the right problem is harder than solving it. We dedicate a focused team to identifying high-value problems in optimisation, chemistry, and ML where quantum algorithms create genuine, patentable advantage.
Algorithm development is our core. Every problem we solve, every tool we build on Qiskit, every domain mapping we develop — is designed to generate defensible IP. 150+ patents targeted over five years, covering novel algorithms, problem-to-quantum mappings, and near-term application methods from NISQ utility today toward fault-tolerant quantum computing by 2030.
We identify problems where quantum algorithms create genuine advantage — then build the algorithms, generate the IP, and deliver the tools. Solar thin-film design and financial time series are our first two applications. They are proof points for our algorithm development process, not the limits of our scope.
